GTM Engineer - Internship (6 months)
Go-to-Market · Remote · Internship
Our mission
ScaleFast's mission is to turn pipeline generation into an engineering discipline, measurable and repeatable, for Europe's most demanding B2B software companies. We believe commercial growth should no longer rely on individual intuition, but on rigorous systems driven by data and AI. Our team brings together sales operators, data specialists and GTM engineers who build, together, the growth infrastructure of the companies shaping tomorrow's SaaS landscape.
The role
As a GTM Engineer intern at ScaleFast, you'll help design and build our multichannel outbound engine: calls, LinkedIn and email.
GTM engineering is the fastest-growing function in B2B today. It's about building automated, signal-driven revenue systems instead of doing manual prospecting task by task. You'll learn the craft hands-on, alongside senior operators, and ship real systems used with our clients, not classroom exercises.
What you'll do
- Design the multichannel outbound strategy (calls, LinkedIn, email): sequences, timing and messaging tailored to each channel.
- Build and automate the workflows: data enrichment, list building and segmentation (Pronto, GetSillage, Foundeers, Tamtam, FullEnrich, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.), deduplication and CRM sync (Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Make the data reliable: set up enrichment waterfalls (several providers queried in a specific order) to maximize the rate of valid contacts, and cleaning rules to keep the CRM from degrading over time.
- Detect and route buying signals: funding rounds, hiring, tech-stack changes, website visits. The goal is to surface the right signal, on the right account, at the right time, rather than spraying wide.
- Wire AI into the machine: personalization at scale, voice agents (ElevenLabs), message generation with Claude or OpenAI. You'll also build human checkpoints before sending, to keep control over quality and brand consistency.
- Set up and protect email deliverability (domains, warm-up, SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
- Document the systems, a real part of the role, not a box to tick at the end of a project:
- Runbooks and playbooks for each workflow: how it works, which sources it uses, how to restart it if it breaks.
- Architecture diagrams showing how the tools connect to each other.
- Documentation designed so the team can operate and evolve the engine without depending on you, including after you leave.
- Work with the field teams: understand what SDRs and AEs really need to convert, and build the systems accordingly rather than in the abstract.
- Run continuous tech scouting, a real part of the role, not a side activity:
- Track new enrichment providers, LinkedIn and deliverability changes, and AI / LLM advances applied to GTM.
- Actually test tools before talking about them: a recommendation is built on a test, not on a LinkedIn post.
- Form a point of view on what's worth adopting and what's just noise, to avoid stacking tools with no real gain.
- Measure everything: pipeline dashboards, A/B tests, and continuous iteration on what actually converts.
What we're looking for
- Analytical, curious, you love automating things: no-code tools, APIs, spreadsheets, a bit of scripting.
- You think in "systems" rather than "quick fixes": you aim to build something reusable and documented, not just to make a workflow run once.
- You understand (or want to learn) complex B2B sales: ICP, qualification, pipeline.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: you can move forward with incomplete information, test a hypothesis, and adjust rather than wait for all the answers.
- Comfortable with modern GTM tooling, or a fast learner (enrichment and sourcing tools, a CRM, LinkedIn automation, AI).
- A project you've automated or built, even a small one, counts more than a degree or a list of tools mastered.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Autonomous, hands-on, motivated to own real projects and their results.
Nice to have
- Experience with an automation platform (n8n, our backbone, Make or Zapier) or a sequencer / dialer (Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, La Growth Machine, Aircall / Allo).
- Basics in SQL, Python or JavaScript: enough to read data, write a simple script, understand an API.
- A first experience with prompt engineering or building AI workflows, beyond simply using a chatbot.
- A first internship or project in sales, growth, ops or data.
Why join ScaleFast
- Learn one of the most in-demand skills in B2B today, from senior operators, on real client accounts.
- Work for the biggest B2B software companies: demanding accounts, a real playground.
- An AI-first team, backed by ElevenLabs and applying to top startup programs.
- Real ownership: your systems go to production and generate real pipeline, not mockups.
- Possibility of a full-time offer at the end of the internship.
Details
- 6-month internship, starting as soon as possible.
- Remote (France).
- Compensation: statutory internship stipend, plus benefits.
- Apply below with your CV. A short note on something you've automated is a big plus.
